《中考考试说明》指出，书面表达要切中题意。怎样才能切中题意？就是要认真审题，看到考题后，先不要急于动笔，要仔细看清题目要求的内容。在自己的头脑中构思出一个框架或画面，确定短文的中心思想，不要匆匆下笔，看懂题意，根据图画、图表、提纲或短文提供的资料和信息来审题。审题要审格式、体裁、人物关系、故事情节、主体时态、活动时间、地点等。
一、教给学生正确的写作方法
1、仔细审题，明确要求
每篇作文都会有一定的要求，有的是通过文字给予说明，有的是通过画面提出要求，因此，学生在着手作文时应通过审题，对所写内容的体裁、格式、采用的基本时态做到心中有数。例如：有的要求以书信格式，有的要求写E-mail，有的要求以对话形式表达。如果学生不按规定的格式去写，即使文字表达再优美，最终也不会得到理想的结果。
2、抓住要点，叙述流畅
不管何种体裁的写作题，都会有几个明确的要点，忽视其中任何一点，都会使整篇文章显得不完整，老师指导学生进行书面表达时要注意：（1）紧扣文章主题，表达清楚要求叙述的内容。（2）用自己擅长的词汇和句型进行写作，采用“某词没底，另找替换；某句有疑，寻求他法”的手段来恰当表达文章内容，保证全文的组织结构、句与句之间的并列、转折和因果等关系、描写中的时间或空三间顺序等都能得到巧妙合理的设计。
二、不会表达，另辟蹊径
中考作文给分是以要点和语言准确度而定，不以文采打分。造句越简单准确越好，造复合句容易出错，容易被扣分，阅卷场上有句话：“错误面前人人平等，文采好不加分”。如遇到个别要点表达不出来或难以表达，可采用变通的办法，化难为易，化繁为简。总之，所造句子要正确、得体、符合英语表达习惯。
（1）迂回而行
当汉语词义不会用英语表达时，可以想一个与这个汉语词义相似的几种词义。扩展思路，然后从英语中找出一个与其词义相近的代替。这样可有异曲同工之妙。
（2）小词大用
汉语中有些语意看来很复杂很文雅，但在英语中可用一些常用词表达。下面这些词可能在你的书面表达中很有用：take，have，get，make，come，go，do，see，show，happy，nice，kind，help等。
（3）借花献佛
有时书面表达中需要的单词或词组或许在试卷中的其他地方出现。因为刚刚做过题，记忆犹新，那么就可信手拈来，为我所用。
三、书写工整，卷面整洁
字迹要清晰，让阅卷人看得清楚，不可字迹潦草，难以辨认，要保持卷面的整洁。
四、写完之后，勿忘检查
书面表达评分原则有四条：
（1）内容要点；
（2）运用词汇和结构的数量；
（3）运用语法结构和词汇的准确性；
（4）上下文的连贯性。
由此可见，要点是给分的一个重要因素。为了防止写作过程中遗漏要点，同学们要充分发挥自己的观察力，把情景中给出的各个要点逐条列出。根据短文的中心思想考虑如何开头、展开和结尾，设想几个承上启下的连词，将主要句型、关键词语草草记下，形成提纲，写时切忌结构分散，废话连篇，严重跑题。书面表达，内容广泛，题材多样，要弄清考题的要求是写人、叙事、介绍、评论、图表、书信、日记、通知、便条还是看图作文或改写缩写。如果是日记，要写清年、月、日和天气情况；如果是书信，则要注意书信的格式，注意短文字数不要低于或超过规定的字数太多。
中考作文时，由于时间紧、内容多，同学们出错在所难免。因此，改错这一环节必不可少。中考作文评卷是根据要点、语言准确性、上下文的连贯性来给分，根据错误多少来扣分。
五、从中考作文得到写作教学中的启示
1、正确对待学生写作中出现的错误，考虑到学生的写作水平，教师要正确对待他们文章中出现的错误，重点放在分析出错的原因上。学生刚开始写作时，往往出错较多，个别学生写的内容有时给人以不知所云的感觉，老师批改时无从下手，对此，教师一方面要考虑到初学者的特点，为了维护学生的'积极性，不宜过多的严格批判；另外，教师又不能对学生的错误视而不见，放任自流。老师不妨首先与学生一起认真分析错误产生的原因，在此基础上，根据学生所处的学习现状，分阶段引导他们逐步纠正那些错误。对于带有普遍性的错误，教师可采用课堂集体讲解的方式，帮助学生认识错误，改正错误；此外，教师可将学生的错误进行分类或排序，对不同的错误采取不同的态度和方法。
2、有效引导学生的写作习惯和语言运用特点
初中在写作有很多优点，他们大胆、热情、积极主动且富有想象力，但在写作习惯、语言运用方面却存在一些问题，如在写作的初始阶段，学生往往是机械的模仿课文中的表达方式，不会创造性地运用语言，对此，教师在课堂教学中，要有意识地围绕一个主流的话题展开，让学生做一些模拟练习，熟悉一些英语的表达方式，然后将课堂学习与英语写作有机地结合起来，帮助学习者尽快地从机械模仿、创造性模仿最后过度到语言的创造性运用。

Then my father was very happy to pick me up, and my mother was very happy to see us. In the evening, my mother made a big dinner, and my family enjoyed their father's day very much. It was an unforgettable father's day.
今天是父亲节，想到爸爸平时那么辛苦，我决定送一个礼物给爸爸，不过我不知道送什么好，突然，我想到妈妈和爸爸那么好，一定有什么好的建议。
于是，我去找母亲商量怎么让父亲高兴。可是，我和母亲两个人商量了好一会儿都没有想出办法来。后来，还是我灵机一动才想出了一个好办法。我立刻对母亲说：“父亲的胡子很多，而且经常会长出来。而且他比较忙，所以，我想买一把剃须刀给爸爸。让他一有空就可以剃去胡须。妈妈，你说好吗？”“好呀，孩子你想到真好！”我听了别提有多高兴了。
于是，我和妈妈一起来到了一家专卖店。那家商店东西真多呀！可是，我想到自己是来买剃须刀的。于是，我直奔陈列剃须刀的柜台。我挑选了一会儿，看到一把银白色的剃须刀既好看又实用，而且价钱也不贵。于是，我掏出自己带来的平时省吃俭用积累起来的'钱，给了老板，拿了那把银白色的剃须刀就和妈妈一起走了。走出商店，妈妈对我说：“送你父亲一样东西不太好吧，再去买一样，好吗？”“好呀，只是我带的钱不多了。”“那没有关系，我这儿有钱。”于是，我就和妈妈一起去了蓝房子——一家专卖贺卡和礼物的商店。进了商店，我立刻开始挑选。我选好了一张可爱的小贺卡。妈妈看了以后说我的眼光真不错。
回到家里，我马上在贺卡上写上我对父亲的祝福语言。然后，我把它和剃须刀放在一起，耐心地等待着。
父亲下班回家来了，我立刻迎上去把礼物和贺卡递给父亲。父亲看到这一份特别珍贵的礼物，迫不及待地看了起来。等到看清礼物以后，他的嘴巴都张开成了“O”型。
然后爸爸非常开心的把我抱起来了，妈妈在旁边看到我们这样，也非常的开心。晚上，妈妈还做了很丰盛的晚餐，我们全家在父亲节过得非常的开心。这真是一个难忘的父亲节。
