In the picture, there stands a tree full of fruit on one side of the stream. Across the stream, a man is trying to reach out on the edge of the band for the fruit with a net attached to a pole. Not far away there is a bridge that can lead him to the tree for more fruit.
The message conveyed in the picture is clear. In pursuing a dream, we might focus on only one say of making it come true, forgetting that there may be alternatives. As indicated in the picture, if the man is willing to look for other possibilities, he can find a better and more rewarding way to achieve his goal. All he has to do is to turn around, cross the bridge and walk to the tree.

一大早，我吃完饭，与妈妈下楼拿上篮球与生日礼物去了我们约定的地点，在车上，我期盼着与同学见面。不一会儿，妈妈开车就到了大地加油站，嗯？怎么一个人也没有，我有些奇怪，我向四周望去，只见一辆桑塔纳20xx里坐着我的同学——王子晗，我着急地下车与他见面，说话的工夫，只见冯宇川骑着自行车来了，我欣喜若狂，之后，我去了车上拿好礼物和篮球，与妈妈说了再见，和同学一起去了岳铭扬家，在半路上，我碰上了岳铭扬与吴士潇，他俩骑着自行车去找罗胜吉了……
我们到了岳铭扬家，先看了看送给岳铭扬的礼物，然后我们又去他的卧室，打开电脑玩儿了会儿，我们又一人吃了一个橘子和一块口香糖。岳铭扬的妈妈回来了，我们又去打了篮球，我与岳铭扬和罗胜吉一伙VS吴士潇、王子晗、冯宇川，结果我们战胜了他们，最终比分是5比2，大家打完篮球都渴了，所以我们又回到了岳铭扬的家。
我们要打扑克，然后阿姨又给了我们四副扑克，打保皇，保皇是五个人打，所以要去一个人，最后决定罗胜吉不打，打了几把扑克，又看了会儿电视，饭也好了，我们吃了香喷喷的'饭菜，分别有：凉拌豆腐皮、京酱肉丝、炒土豆丝、拔丝地瓜、炸肉、牛肉、西红柿炒鸡蛋……
下午，我们吃了蛋糕，蛋糕是王子晗送的，是十六寸的，上面有草莓、黄桃、菠萝、椰果。我们又去了体育场打了会儿篮球，然后我们又在小池塘砸了冰。
好时光总是会匆匆流走，下午三点十五我还要去张店学英语，不一会儿爸爸妈妈就来接我们了。

Recently, I’ve read in the newspaper an article about the “post-90’s generation, which causes me to question myself whether this is a successful or an unsuccessful generation.
One the one hand, this generation really has many shortcomings and faults. For example, they seem to be much more dependent and selfish and anxious for comfortable life.
On the other hand, they of course have their own advantages and strengths such as their strong curiosity for the surrounding world, their independence in thinking and creativity in concepts.
As one of the “post-90’s generation”， I shall struggle to overcome my shortcomings and weaknesses mentioned above while keeping on being independent and creative in thinking.

刚开学，老师对我们不了解，要临时找几个人当班干部，做课代表。我呢，自认为音乐有点天赋，也就认准了要做音乐课代表，选其他代表时，我没有争取，静等着竞争音乐课代表。可是，到了最后，老师说：“体育、音乐课代表分别是体育委员和文娱委员。”我一听，蒙了！老师呀，你怎么不早说，现在没有空位儿了，我一无所获呀！咳，悔不该只盯着一个位置呀，自己把机会给失去了。
昨天下午的班会上，老师说要正式选举班委，机会来了，这次可得好好把握一下，因为已经知道了班里有多少把交椅，所以我在竞选每个职务时都争当候选人，普遍撒网，重点捞鱼吗！可惜的'是，我没有坐上班长的交椅，这说明我还有很多的地方需要努力提高。到了选课代表时，老师说：“哪一科的课代表由哪一科的老师自己定。英语课代表还是王凯，他干得不错，就是太忙了，我们再加一个英语课代表。”机会来了，可得紧紧抓住！我的英语水平不比珠穆朗玛峰高，但也不比吐鲁番盆地低呀，据这段的了解，我在我们班当个英语课代表还是可以胜任的。于是，我坚定有力的举起了手，当上了候选人，又以多数人的支持坐上了第二英语课代表的宝座。
课代表才当了一个上午，就觉得比以前忙多了，上下课要收、发、抱作业，有同学不会了，自己还得教他们，虽然辛苦，但我相信自己，一定能能干好这份工作，当好同学的小老师，做好老师的小助手！
